Want to count the time duration between the one cycle rotation of Futaba servo

Hi All,

Please help me out, a dam new user to NI.

My aim is to find the time taken by a servo to complete its one cycle rotation. I am using Futaba servo and it rotates from 27 degree to 153 degree. Its Min and Max limits.

I am using IR Sensor to help me on the same.

I have kept the IR sensor at 27 degree. When Servo comes in contact with IR sensor there is 5v supply and when there is no contact with the sensor no 5v supply.

Using this logic can you please tell us how to count the time taken by our servo.

So what you are wanting is to measure the time between successive high outputs from the IR sensor. Yes?
What kind of DAQ hardware do you have? You need a counter/timer channel.

There are examples that ship with LV which will get you started. When wanting to know how to do something new like this always start with the examples.
