Want to control my Inverter load (500W, lamp), with the help of Labview and NI-USB-6215.

Hello Everyone,

I am doing my Master project and I want to control my Inverter load (500W, lamp) automatic.

Here I would explain about my set-up I have NI-USB-6215, LabView-2009 and battery bank of 12Volt, that is connected to my 1500W Inverter and Inverter has Remote switch, that can on and off my Inverter.

What I have to do make such VI that can sense my battery voltage level and on and off my Inverter load automatically with the help of my Inverter Remote switch.

What I have done so far, I can read my battery voltage in LabView and also can on and off my Inverter Remote switch with Toggle switch in Labview manually. But, I got stuck with that how I can combine these two to work together automatic.

Please help me out, hoping to hear from anyone !!

Thanks in Advance !!

did you try a while loop with a case structure in it?

checking the Voltage continously and reacting with on/off in the case structure?

What did you try so far?

Here you can find my front panel !!

As you can see in my front panel, in first DAQ(Analog Input), I got battery voltage and connect to the case structure and another DAQ(digital output) is controlling my Inverter remote switch .

My problem is that, what kind of case structure I have to make and how to connect that output with my toggle switch to control it.

Your VI is essentially empty.

Why do you use an array of booleans? I do not understand at all what you thought.

try sth. like this and please: rtfm! Smiley Frustrated
