Not for Volvo specifically but have sat for a few interviews on boths sides of the table. I would say that generally companies are looking for aptitude and attitude and that the interview process is less than a perfect thing. It's not a bad idea to spend some time on https://leetcode.com/ as they cover all the standard CS design patterns that are prime targets for Jr dev interview questions.

Also if they show you some of their working code try to resist commenting on how it could be better. Of course you want to show off your skills and what you bring to the table but you don't want to insult the programmer especially if they are in the interview with you.

Save that for after you get hired, as it is a longstanding tradition to disparage the previous dev's efforts.

Be careful, though.  Sometimes the code wins.

I reckon it would be an easy enough bot to do, but to what end?

I have been wondering the same; recently, most of the new posts were properly structured into several segments and even with bold sub-headings.

Like, who in the world does those text formatting to ask a question, you're not publishing a paper.
