Virtual Connection of 2 different instruments DAQmx

Hi,

I am trying to connect 1 output device with other input device in virtual NI Chassis, virtually.

How can I connect 1 output to the other port which is an input port?

I have already created output and input virtual tasks for both devices in NI MAX. Using the same task in LabVIEW.

How can I do that?

You can’t. Those virtual devices are not real measurement devices but simply simulate a device in order to not give an error when you try to run a program that accesses them. There is no analog output that you could connect somehow to something, not even virtually. And the analog inputs generate simply a sine wave and return the readings from that.

There have been occasionally talks about such functionality but implementation of something like that is enormous, it’s API or user configuration rather complicated and that makes this a feature that would be nice to have from a technical point of view but pretty much a wasted investment from an economical point of view.
