Variable amount of Samples in Signal Collector

    All,

Is there a way to have the Signal Collector take a variable amount of samples?

Hi Kenneth,

Can you please clarify your question? What do you mean by the signal collector? What signals are you sampling and how?

I wouldn't imagine the signals that I'm sampling being important, but they're just analog signals.

When I speak of the collector I'm talking about the "Collector" function on the "Signal Manipulation" palette. This has the ability, pre-run, to be set to a certain number of samples, is there a way to control this as the application is running?

Regards,
Ken

Right click on the express collector vi, select Open Front Panel, convert. Go to the block diagram, right click on the size constant, select change to control. Now wire that control to a terminal on the connector pane if needed. Save the vi under a unique name.
