VI search path elaboration

Is there a tool or method that will cause LabVIEW to output the steps it takes when searching for subVIs as it loads a top-level VI? I'm seeing some non-intuitive behavior, and wondering if such output would help clarify what's going on.

By default LabVIEW searches through these locations in that order.

You can edit the order or add paths.

Some toolkits add some items in \resource and may point to additional locations relative to \resource.  On the other hand if you are seing "Unintuitive" directory searches the most likly reason is its searching though <Foundvi> and your vis may be in a strange location.
