Using the PCIe-6536 as a Logic Analyzer

Hi,

We purchased the NI PCIe-6536 card, and the accessories, to use as a simple Logic Analyzer and mainly to capitilize on its ability to store tones of captured packet data dierctly onto the hard drive of the desk-top for further analysis with the DIADem post processing software.

I am the Labview developer to facilitate for a simple Front Panel GUI for the system engineers to define edge or pattern trigerring points and capture the digital data following the trigger point.

Any simple examples out there that are similar to what I am trying to do?

you will find (lots of) "simple examples" (advanced ones too)  in the ExampleFinder, which is found in LabVIEW's help menu…
