Using PC-LPM-16 with a Thermocouple

I don't believe the PC-LPM-16 board supports differential inputs. Is
it still possible (how?) to monitor a K-Type Thermocouple and read the
temperature in LabView 6? I know Omega provides a
Thermocouple-to-Millivolt linear converter for $99...any other
(inexpensive) possibilities?

You can buy a thermocouple amplifier and a CJC for between $10-$20CDN from
digikey. They have stock and will ship overnight. The circuit is very easy
to set up. The example shown will give you an output between 0-5V for
0-100C. By changing R3 you can set the range to whatever you want. This
way you can use a single ended input on your DAQ.
