FYI,

 

YOu probably realize the binary is hard to read and is subject to format changes in the event NI decides to enhance the data format. So keep back-ups of the old files and the old code, "just in case".

I find a function named Write Datalog.vi in File I/O ->Advanced File Functions. That might meet your requirement.
