Hi,

 

Is it possible to to use an USB port of an embedded controller (PXI8108) to replicate a keyboard when plugged into a device expecting

a USB keyboard ?

From what I understand about USB, I don't think you can do that.

 

The USB ports on the PXI controller are host ports and as such can't be used as device ports. A keyboard would be a HID device class. Maybe there is some sort of HID emulator that could be placed between the PXI and your UUT that is expecting a USB keyboard...
