Unit Test Error

I am getting the following error information after running a unit test.

Possible reason(s): Cannot execute tests while related VIs are running, including the VI under test, setup VI, teardown VI, user-defined comparison VI, and user-defined test VI.

Can you be more specific as to your set up. Is this being run under the "LabVIEW Unit Test Framework"?

OK. We are executing the unit test within a project on a particular VI that is in the project as well. It is a unit test with numerous test cases and the inputs to the VI contains a cluster with a lot of elements. For some reason sometimes when we run lthe unit test it gives an error that states what I listed below. Not sure why. When we run it again there is no error; happens only about 10% of the time.

By unit test you mean that you are testing a device or a part of your code? If we are talking about hardware: what is the device that you are trying to test? Can you please specify your testing method and tools? If we are talking about a VI that you want to test then can you describe what the VI does and the expected behavior? Remember that it is possible to post your code. A good description of the problem helps others understand your application witch is very important if you want help from the members of the forum.

Would you like to share the VI under test which has 10% chance of resulting the error?
