Unable to activate Labview in Parallels on Macbook

Solved!
Go to solution
We have purchased Labview 8.6.1 and upon installing I am unable to activate the product.  There was no certificate of ownership provided, and the only serial number o was able to find is the part number on the lamination of the box, which is: 501510F-00  I used 501510F in an attempt to activate the product.  An error message appears stating that the serial number is invalid.

Yeah that's not the serial number.  It will start with a letter, followed by two numbers, a letter, and 5 more numbers so some thing like this.

A11A11111

You can try to activate online on another computer by going to www.ni.com/activate

You should contact your local NI Sales Engineer or NI directly if your serial number is missing or it got lost.

Hello Atro,

There should've been a 9 digits alpha-numeric serial number somewhere on the box/CD/packaging. If you are still having issue actvating LabVIEW, please call in at 1-866-275-6964 and one of our applications engineer will be able to assist you.
