UDP Write hangs

UDP Write hangs forever when trying to write too fast. This appends with both unicast and multicast sockets. This seems to append when the ethernet buffer is full. In this situation, LabVIEW 8.2 would have output an error.
When the VI hangs, there is no solution other than killing LabVIEW, aborting the VI does not work.
I did reproduce this bug on 3 different PC, running Win XP or Linux, however all of them have Intel-based motherboards.
I don't have any workaround at the moment. Here is a snipet to illustrate.

I am having simillar problem too. I am writing flattened image data of around 5000 bytes on UDP write.vi and the program hangs. I have given time out of 1000 ms but time out doesnt seem to work as well, it doesnt return error but seems like waits for the program to complete. I have attached the picture herewith . Could anyone help on this. It doesnt happen when I work in LAN but occurs when I use 3G internet.
