Trying to install labview I get the error "labview_85.exe is not a valid 32 bit application"

What is your OS ?

Windows xp profesional

SP2 ?
Do you have administrator rights on this machine ?

I have both SP2 installed and Administrative rights on this machine.

I have tried saving Labview_85.exe and then installing it and also running it from its current location.

Both gave me the same message.

It is possible that the file got corrupted during download.

What is the size of the the file (should be about 549MB)? Try downloading it once more from https://lumen.ni.com/nicif/us/lveval/content.xhtml
