I have Labview 10.0 version installed on windows XP machine. I want to connect MCC USB 1208FS to Labview. Not able to see the MCC device listed in device interface of Measurement and Automation Explorer. Will it be displayed? Please let me know the steps to access the MCC device in Labview.
I can see the MCC card detected when viewed in InstalCal of MCC supported software. I have installed the latest MCC software from MCC site.

As far as I am aware, you will not be able to see the measurement computing hardware in MAX.
From the MAX help file: "Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) provides access to your National Instruments devices and systems." i.e. MCC hardware is not a National Instruments device.
Why not stick with the InstaCal software and supplied MCC vis?

Thanks Ian for the reply. you are correct. MAX lists only NI hardwares.

Dear All
I am facing problem of interfacing USB1208 with Labview. I successfully install MCC DAQ Software and it shows the connectivity of USB 1208. But I could not find USB 1208 icon in Labview measurement explorer. Please guide me how I can configure USB1208 ith Labview.
Kind Regards

See the post marked as solution above - you are asking the same question as the original post.
Only NI hardware will show in MAX. Your hardware is not from NI. You need to use the tools provided by Measurement Computing to configure your device, not Measurement and Automation Explorer.

I don't have that hardware, or indeed access to LabVIEW at present so can't offer much more that the following:
Install instacal, install the Measurement Computing software, run the demos and test code that comes with it. The new(ish) ULx VIs that are supplied are pretty easy to use, and aren't a million miles from the National Instrument's equivalent.
Search the forums for similar and you will be well on your way.... for example
