I am upgrading from LabVIEW 2010 to 2011 to go along with the shift from Windows XP to Windows 7. The CCD works as expected over the 1394b connection when using XP/2010. However, with 7/2011 installed I am unable to connect to the camera. Measurement and Automation Explorer does not even recognize when the camera is plugged in.
I have already installed all necessary drivers (unless there is a patch of some sort required).
Any suggestions to get the camera up and running are greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I believe we spoke over the phone today regarding this issue.
To fill people in, we suspected that there may be a conflict between the Hitachi drivers for use with their software and the NI IMAQdx drivers. On some ocassions, installing the Vision Acquisition Software after third party cameras have been installed will cause problems with image acquisition through the IMAQ drivers. This and other troubleshooting steps are discussed in our Troubleshooting FireWire (IEEE 1394) Camera Installation Problems.
If anyone has had a similar issue with this setup, please offer any suggestions that you have.
Thanks,
