Have a look at NI's Example Program Database. There's an example under

It's based on an Active X solution. I ran it under Win 95, but couldn't get
it up on my NT-System (probably because the Active X component was not
installed on that machine). It should work, though.
P.S.: if the link above doesn't bring you to the 'toolbar.zip' download,
start with
www.ni.com/support/epd and browse through the database manually.
You'll find it under the
-->labview-->no hardware required
group. There's a lot of other very useful examples there....
