Tip strips not working in LV 7.1

I have added a bunch of tip strips to a LV 7.1 application and all was going well then all of a sudden things were not working.  The strips were not poping up or we flashing off very quickly.  Has any one else seen this.  Both my options and application property show that tips are enabled.

Rebooted and the tips are back.  I am not sure what caused this irregularity Labview my laptop or XP?

Have you been able to reproduce this since it happened? or this was just an isolated case?

Appears to be an isolated case.  Might have something to me crashing lv and quitting out of it earlier in the day, did this by swithcing between LV 8.0 and 7.1 (I multitask way too much and have 6 active LV projects using 4 different verisons of LV).  More likely a MS issue or maybe a mouse problem.  Either way all is well again.
