Time measurement between AO generation and digital input

Hi,
I use a DAQ 6713 ( DAQ STC). I want to measure two different signal edge separation. I generate an AO ramp voltage and I want to calculate the time interval between that generation and an other TTL signal.
I want to start the counter on the AO update ( or ramp falling edge) for example by rounting the AO to the RTSI1 on the falling edge ( mode config.vi) The counter should stop by detecting the rising edge of my external signal.
How can I do that?
In the mode config.vi there is no operation mode to calculate the time between to different signals, is that true?
Any help will be greatly appreciated
thanks

Renaud,

The DAQ-STC is not capable of performing two signal edge separation measurement. However, the NI-660X products have built-in functionality to perform this type of measurement. If you add one of these boards to your system, you can RTSI it to your 6713 to pass the timing signals that you wish to measure. This is the cleanest solution to your application.

Erin
