Thermometer or verticle fill slide with scale on the right

Maybe I'm missing something here, but without going into customizing a control, is there any way to get a thermometer or verticle fill slide to appear with the scale and graticules on the RIGHT side, instead of the left? I have a color bar graph that I use with a thermometer scale on one side, but also want a different scale to appear on the other.

You can modify the scale only in the control editor (Customize Control...). See attachment

Thanks. I tried to customize it and gave up in frustration. The control editor in LV leaves a lot to be desired.
