Start by looking on the manufacturer's website for documentation on the hygrometer.

It may be easy or it may hard to translate that other program into LabVIEW.

You won't know until you investigate further.

My original post stands. Read the instrument's manuals which is what anyone else is going to have to do.

You are suppose to be doing the work, not us.

I browsed minipa's website and found the device, but couldn't find any reference to LabVIEW drivers.  Part of the problem is that I only speak English, but a search for "site:minipa.com.br labview" shows some references to LabVIEW drivers.  If you can find that, you're half-way done.

That VI does nothing but read from the same file over and over again and then writes the same data to a file over and over again. It has nothing to do with your request to read a hygrometer.

And why the local variable? Also, you are not reading/writing actual xls files. It is just confusing to use the xls extension.
