The output / input configured in the OPC Server is different from the working in the S7-200

Hello,

I'm taking the first steps in LabView. I´m using LabView to make the graphical interface with a PLC S7 200 CPU226, but I have a problem.

For example when I try to read an input or force an output through LabView the port that I set in OPCServer is not the same as I´m going to read / activate in S7.For example when I force the output Q0.0 in LabView, PLC actives the output Q1.0 or when I try to read input I1.0 in fact I'm reading the I2 .0

Thank you for your cooperation

Hi Guerraf,

Have you find a solution yet? I wasn't able to find anything consistent about this issue. You may want to try this tutorial :

NI-DAQ OPC Server Troubleshooting Wizard: Not All Channels Functioning

Please let us know if it helps at all or if you are still having troubles.

Have a nice day,

Hello Marc

Thanks for your reply.

I was following the tutorial found at this link:

http://forums.ni.com/ni/attachments/ni/170/585958/ 1/opcsiemenss7200.pdf

In the OPC Server to configure the "tags" the procedure said to put boolean and thus never worked, I tried to put as byte and is now running.

Sincerely,

 F Guerra
