Solved!

The exe self extractor for the Agilent E3631A IVI driver expects Drive C: to exist.  I do not have drive C:  The self extractor opens then reports C: drive does not exist and them closes the extractor.  Does anyone know a work around to this?

How can you not have a c:\ drive?  What kind of PC are you running on?

Try renaming the .exe has a .zip.  Then see if you can open using winzip or another zip program to be able to manually drag out the files.

Renamed to zip and it opened fine in Winrar.  Never thought to do that, thanks.

MS Vista is the OS.  Installed Vista Upgrade from XP and I installed to drive 😧  Never had any issue until this.
