That does look nice!
The lack of shortcuts for many commonly used things (align by tops) is probably my largest complaint so far.

Luckily, these days you can fill many holes in that gap yourself relatively easily using scripting and things like Quick Drop shortcuts and LabVIEW Speak (which is similar to QDKS, but where you speak to invoke the plugins). Alignment plugins seem to be fairly popular and I believe both frameworks already have existing plugins for different types of alignment available online.
Also, if you prefer QDKS to LVS, you might find yourself running out of keyboard shortcuts. There's an idea to help with that here - http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Supercharge-Quick-Drop-Turn-QD-keyboard-shortcuts-into...

Just to echo what Jim said- everybody needs an Arduino. They just don't know it yet!

When I'm working with the Arduino I'm like a kid in a candy store.
For price, flexibility and power it is a paradigm shifter for me.

I'm going to get a Raspberry Pi next. I'll be like a kid in a bakery! I want to play with the Wolfram language and integrate it into my kids' home school math. 😄
