TPC-2106 remove icons

I am trying to remove the desktop icons from my TPC-2106 touch panel running windows ce.

The problem is everytime I reboot, it resets. 

I can remove the My Device and Recycle bin Icons by following these directions:

But I cannot remove all the ones I really need gone:

"Microsoft WordPad"

"My documents"

"Internet Explorer"

"Remote Desktop..."

Hi Laptopolus, 

I've looked around a bit here and haven't found anything conclusive on how to get rid of anything besides the recycle bin and my computer.  

I haven't tested this, but it looks like other's have had success with this:

I've looked for an easier method, like editing the registry, but I don't believe a key exists beyond the My computer and Recycle Bin key's.
