DAQ Cards being used: - PCI-1200 (2 DIO lines used for transmitting digital signals) - 6023E (2 DIO lines used for receiving digital signals)
Problem: I would like to send and receive digital data continuously at the same rate. I don't know if synchronization has to be done in software, or there can be some sort of trigger/clock signal to use between the two DAQ Cards. Please Help. Thanks
Try to look at RTSI. The PCI-1200 doesn't have that connector though. If you want, you can try to do it by software. If you want high-speed synchronisation, you HAVE to use RTSI, but then you have to look at other cards. PLease call your local NI Office for more information... they won't hurt you!
