Switch the Linux keyboard modifiers

Does anybody know if its possible to switch the keyboard modifiers for the Linux version of LabVIEW? It defaults to using Alt as the primary modifier rather than Ctrl, like the windows version. I switch back and forth between the two and find it really annoying to remember which version I'm currently using. Not to mention "Alt-Z" for undo, "Alt-C" for copy and so on don't match up with other Linux applications.

I looked at remaping the keyboard in X, but that would result in a system-wide change (thereby making Alt-Z=undo on every other application!). Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Jason

Hi Jason,

I'm afraid that there is currently no option for changing menu shortcuts in LabVIEW.  However, I highly recommend you make a product suggestion at our Product Suggestion Center (http://digital.ni.com/applications/psc.nsf/default?openform) as I can see how frustrating this behavior could be.

Thank you for the feedback,
