do you know why?

Hi krispiekream,
Make sure the green ROI is accurate. Also, it might help to use the OCR Training Interface to help the OCR algorithm learn the characters better. The OCR Training Interface can be found by going to Start >> Programs >> National Instruments >> Vision >> OCR Training. I hope this helps!

Hi
I have made a PC controlled RF robot operated at 434 Mhz using parallel port. The circuit having only four channels in order to control two motors in both direction. But now I want to attach a camera in the robot which acts as eyes for my robot and my robot can see the enviorment and transfer exactly to the labview wirelessly and so that I can choose the best path for its movement.
So please suggest me where to began i.e type of camera required and how should it be programmed.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi krispiekream,
I assume you were trying to run the OCR example when this error occured? Were you able to run it before? If so, did anything change between being able to run it and the error occuring? Can you check Measurement & Automation Explorer for LV RunTime Engines?

no, i am trying to using OCR training and it was missing labview runtime engine.
It is working now. I am trying to get familiar with the OCR training interface.
Thanks!

Kristen,
the OCR training is very cool.
But just in case my professor asked how did I do it.
Do you know where I can find information on how NI uses the OCR algorithm?

Hi krispiekream!
The best documentation on the algorithms (or as close as we can get since its proprietary) will be in the Vision Concepts Manual. You can find it by going to Start >> Programs >>National Instruments >>Vision >> Documentation >> NI-Vision >>Vision Concepts Manual. Check that out!
