String formatting using "Append table to report.vi"

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm trying to move numeric (double) data from an array in LabView to Excel using "Append table to report.vi".

Using default value for format string gives me the numbers just as integers, without any decimal separator.

Using %3,6f as string format gives me the numbers as I want them, except the letter f is added to all cells.

How can I remove the f?

Is there a better way to transfer array data from LabView to Excel?

Disabling "Use localized decimal point*" in Options/Front Panel/General solved my problem...
