Using LabVIEW 2020 and working on a web application that is using NI Web Server to host. The application is deployed by building a NI package and including the Web Service in the package. I noticed that after initially installing the package, everything works as expected, however on reboots I was seeing strange behavior.
Determined this was due to the Startup VI that was specified not actually starting. This was determined by writing to the System Log and looking at Windows Event Viewer to verify the message. On initial deployment I see the message as expected in the Windows Event log, but on a reboot they do not appear.
Trying to understand if this is a bug with LabVIEW 2020 and NI Web Server, or if there is something wrong being done in the code. The Web Service is pretty light weight and has a single startup VI that is contained within the Startup VIs folder within the Web service
