This is a known problem that has been fixed in the Database Connectivity Toolset. The problem is most likely in the Merant ODBC driver. Even with the new toolset, the Microsoft ODBC driver for Oracle has problems with binary data. The best thing to do is use the Oracle drivers (either the ODBC or the OLE DB) with the new toolset.
