Hi,

For your camera to work with LabVIEW, firstly you will need to have NI-IMAQ for 1394 or IMAQdx, our drivers for firewire cameras. The camera must also be DCAM compliant. However, since you have a consumer camera, this is unlikely to be the case.

The following links have some more information that should allow you to check whether it is compliant or not:

Dear Dan,

Thanks for your answer.
I have NI-IMAQ for 1394 and IMAQdx, and I dont know which dirver I should choose.
It means I don't know which one is better for Sony XCD-SX910 IEEE 1394.

Thank for your help

Hi again,

I would recommend using the IMAQdx drivers, since these are newer than the IMAQ for 1394 drivers, and are designed for newer generations of cameras.

Dan
