Smart lighting control system using labview and arduino

Hi,I am a new engineer and working on a project of home automation using labview and arduino.I want to control the turning on and off of bulb and lamps in my house model when it sense a movement any movement (smart lighting system) and control the on off through Labview.I am a new user of LabView.How can I make a block diagram of lighting control system and interface arduino with Labview?

You need to play with little hardware also. First of all you need to find a solution to interface movement sensor to arduino. This is as per your requirement. I am sure there is lots of option readily available. Google it. Then you can use output of light sensor to turn ON/OFF light using relay.

there is ON/OFF switch to show whether light is on/off in front panel.

 

What is the output of sensor
