Signal ranger srmk3 boards

I'm working on a system that uses 2 dsp boards made by Softdb called srmk3's. I have an issue with the API that comes with the boards. When the program is running and everything started up correctly the function from the API (SignalRanger_HL.lib) return immediately but if one of the boards gets unplugged API calls to the other board, the one that still has power, won't return. I'm trying to write threads that monitor both boards separately but I can't figure out why if one losses power why won't the other still communicate.

I don't know if anyone on the LabVIEW forum would have an answer for this.  It sounds like a problem with those board's drivers.  Have you tried contacting that company about the LabVIEW drivers they supplied?

I have but I'm not sure I am going to get a response. People who work with the boards use lab view for testing so I thought there was a chance somebody might be familiar. Thanks for your input though.
