I want to communicate with myrio over a PC using modbus TCP protocol over ethernet cable. I have attached a usb to ethernet cable to NI-myRio. NI-myrio sees it as an ethernet port. But I don't know exactly how the communication can be. Any ideas on this?
There may be other options, however what I am aware and have used (with cRIO 9045), the DSC Module , Datalogging and Supervisory Control. it makes Modbus TCP fairly straightforward once configured, the Modbus registers are available as shared variables.
