Send SMS Text using Gmail STMP and AT&T SMS Gateway

I'm trying to send a text message to my mobile phone using my GMAIL STMP server and my carrier (AT&T)'s SMS Gateway. When I run this VI, I get:

Error 363504 occurred at LabVIEWSMTPClient.lvlib:Send.vi:2280001

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW:  Invalid username or password combination.

Complete call chain:
     LabVIEWSMTPClient.lvlib:Send.vi:2280001
     Send text message to phone.vi

Simple error handler explanation is incorrect username or password which I've checked a ton of times and with multiple gmail accounts and this simply isn't true. I admit I'm not well versed in STMP or SMS.

I should add I enabled IMAP and POP for my gmail account in case that was necessary.

Wow nevermind I figured out the problem. I had to enable less secure apps for my gmail account. Then it worked!

I am have difficulty sending email via LabView code. I am getting the same error you reported, but I do not understand what settings you changed in gmail to correct the problem.
