Saving test data records to database, 3rd party software/database

Hi All,

I am looking for a software recommendation or an example of saving all test data to a single database.

For a large volume testing all test data needs to be stored to a single database that can be accessed from multiple locations.

Therefore something like excel file will not work, I am trying to find a way to avoid creating my own database from scratch and maintain it.

What are industry standards of saving test data records maybe there are 3rd party software that can save all the data, already have user interface and can create reports? Any recommendation?

Thanks

I'd claim there's no real standard, but a suggestion has been made by a collaboration through MS and others. Our product QRM uses this standard which consists of a DB-layout and ATML (a XML-definition) to send test results.

We can also handle the DB. 😉
