SNMP.vi for Labview

I need to be able to set up an SNMP agent in my application. Is there
already one out there or do I get to do the leg work myself?

Check for ActiveX and DLL versions of this protocol. I'm not sure how you want to use it (or why), but there should be SNMP applications already built that you can integrate into LabVIEW. Also, do a search of NI's website, you may get lucky.

If you don't want to write all this yourself using the UDP tools, there seem to be two commercial offerings:
