I have used the SMTP pallette in LabVIEW 2013 for a client with success, i.e. it happily sent text emails to the outside world. However, a couple of months ago it simply stopped working and now I get error 363514 (An error occurred while receiving data from the network.)
I can only assume that they have changed their security settings in some way. Oddly the code works perfectly in LabVIEW 2015. NI tech support have suggested I repair 2013 (I did that but no improvement) or re-install 2013 or migrate my client's code to 2015 (I'd rather not). I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this problem and solved it. Code attached.
Many thanks
Malcolm

Try using the VI attached instead. It worked for me when using LabVIEW 2013 with an outlook account.

Thank you for your help. In the end I think there was something in the server settings that 2013 could not deal with and 2015 could. The problem has been fixed. Once again, thanks for your help and sorry for taking so long to respond.

Thanks for posting your VI Igodsch.
The "Send Email Express VI" from NI suddenly stopped working for GMX!
With your VI it works again 🙂
