Hello.
I want to generate a sine signal with this instrument using the VISA patterns.
I sent the messages I found on the manual. Attached there is the VI. The signal generator is the Rigol DG1022A.
The problem is that it doesn't generate anything..... where is the mistake?
Thank you.

Hi.
In instruments driver network you can get driver and examples for DG1022. Perhaps it can help in your application.

Hi.
Can you try the Labview example in Rigo site?
http://www.rigolna.com/products/waveform-generators/dg1000/dg1022/
Select software tab and look for Labview 2011 general example.
Cheers.

Please, go to this link: http://www.rigolna.com/products/waveform-generators/dg1000/dg1022/
Scroll down the page and under FAQS you can see the examle for Labview. Download it and try to see what happens.
Attached is a copy of that example.
Cheers.

I had the same issue. The Rigol DG1022Z that I am using did not work with LabVIEW even with the example from the Rigol site with the driver installed. Connecting the PC to the rear USB 2.0 B port made the device visible under the "VISA resource name" field with a long name as " USB::0x......" and the example worked fine.
A question I have is: why doesn't it work from the front panel USB port?
Rigol tech support stated that it should work seamlessly.
I am finding it hard to figure out why.
