Right-click custom drop-down menu on graph loaded in sub-panel

Hi,

Is it possible to have custom drop-down menu and process events for 3D graph (or any item) loaded in subpanel??

From what I'm experiencing it doesn't work.

If it is possible, what settings need to be enabled??

Under VI Properties -> Customize Window Appearance does "Allow default run-time short-cut menus" need to be enabled?

I don't want the default menus for any controls (when you right-click) except I want only some custom menus for limited number of controls.

Thanks,.

I haven't been able to look deeply into this, but I don't think there's a way to do this other than using x-controls.

I will try to do some research tomorrow, but in the mean time, you might want to take a look into this:

Hi there,

So you can't right-click any object to get custom drop-down menu for any control being viewed as part of VI loaded in subPanel???

Does anyone know?

BTW I know how to create xControl but how will this help?

For clarification, when say “I don't want the default menus for any controls (when you right-click) except I want only some custom menus for limited number of controls.” could you provide a screenshot of this as a visual example of what you are talking about?
