I want to make a office document, which can be readable in word or excel.

Should I buy the report generation toolkit?

That toolkit is an excellent choice. If you create a template in Excel or word (.dot, .xlt) you can reference to it in Labview. You do this with only a single function. Check out the link on this toolkit. There is a lot of information on the web page.
