Hello Everyone,
Past couple of days I have been trying to learn and do some very basic projects (video) using NI Vision and its not going too well, partly because I do not have any image processing experience or background. I would like to know if there are some resources out there for the beginners. I found one book "image acquisition and processing with labview" but it caters for more expert users. Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.

Edit: That's what I get for posting from my phone. The book I suggested is the book you mentioned in your post.

Are you saying you are a beginner at image processing or at LabVIEW or both? If LabVIEW there are lots of good resources online. A good book is LabVIEW For Everyone.

Hello odessy27,
For a general image processing book, try Image Processing: The Fnndamentals. For LabVIEW examples using IMAQ functions, you can take a look at our shipping examples. From any LabVIEW window, go to Help >> Find Examples. Then browse to Hardware Input and Output and IMAQ.
Thanks,
Lisa
