Reading CGM image file

We have an old HP-UX system that exports all of its plots as a CGM image file.  Does anyone have experience with importing / reading this file format in LabVIEW?

I have no experience of this, but out of curiosity: It seems CGM is a container that can hold both raster, vector and text data. Have you tried to find some kind of free CGM viewer to see if there is actually any data/text except for raster image data inside your files? If they only contain raster images I suppose there isn't much hope of doing anything meaningful with them.

It is all vector and text data.  MS Office used to support the file format, but with 365 they discontinued support due to a security threat in the format.

There are quite a few free viewers / converters out there... but ideally I would like something in-house that I have control over.
