Read cursor data from XY graph

Hello. I want to read data from XY graph in following manner.... click mouse on line in graph and get the coordinates of the closest plotted point or even better the point on line where I've clicked...

 

The attached Vi gives me error 1055... Why it is not working this way?

Hi KuKu,

 

maybe you should create a cursor before you try to check it's X position? When there is no cursor then the property node will give an error...

 

Make the cursor palette visible...
