Read VISA signal on function generator

Thank you for your advice, actually now I´m thinking about the hardware to read the voltage output. I´m thinking about a regular DAQ, easy to use and cheap. Do you have some advice?

You need to think about your requirements here.

• Samples/sec
• Resolution & accuracy
• Latency between samples
• How you are measuring the cantilever displacement to align the two readings

Once you have your minimal requirements written down, then it will make your selection somewhat easier and more realistic.  Maybe a simple Daq device will do, but then again???

I acquire samples with a while loop, one sample each loop, every 100 ms (or 10), generating samples each 10 ms (or 1). The accuracy I need is not really high, it´s ok to have 0.1 V sensivity. I don´t think these are high requirements. I don´t know if I explained good enough! Whati do you think?
