Read Measurment from HP-3458A

I'm trying to read the current measurement of a HP-3458A Multimeter (DMM) using the LabView instrument driver. But, when I try to start the measurement appear a Query error code -1074000000, and the LabView read the multimeter current value as an error. Someone could help me with a solution of this issue?

Replace the faulty GPIB cable.  One of the handshake lines is not right.

Your device is not clearing a buffer with the *RST command and responding with what appears to be a reading to SYST:ERR?  That can only be a hardware fault.
