Hello everyone,
I am wondering if there is a way to remove all the small branches after skeletonization in LabVIEW. I would like to obtain only the single major branch, which is the midline of a fish image in a dorsal view.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Akira,
Can you please attach an image of what you are doing? I'm afraid I don't at all understand what you mean by "skeletonization", and I don't see how an image of a fish is relevant to removing branches in LabVIEW.

Hello Chris,
Thanks for your reply. I attached raw/skeletonized fish images from a frame in a recorded movie. I am using Vision package that contains a function for Skeletonization but apparently there is no function for Pruning. I would like a robust way of pruning that works on all the frames in a movie.
Thanks,
Akira

Hi,
Did you come up with a way of doing this efficiently? I'm a little stumped, and am trying to do the same thing.
