Protection in VI

Please let me have simple question the password protection in Labview 2013.

I just tried to enable the password-protected in VI properties, Protection Tab.

even though i already set the password, But I still can view and edit the block diagram?

Try to restart LabVIEW. LabVIEW remembers the hashed password keys used to generate the encryption key for the password protection of the VI diagram. The reason is that if you want to open a VI library that is password protected and for which you have the legitimate password and that password wasn't cached, you would have to enter the password for each VI in that library again.

 

Alternatively you can go to Tools->Options->Environment->Clear Password Cache
