Problems in the HDD to install RT for desktop

Hello All,

I can not understand why, but sometimes I face problems to install RT for desktop.
I startup with the evaluation disk and everithing is OK, but with some disks i can not use the format disk created in MAX.
The error message is Kernelll something...
I already try in FAT 32, FAT 16, limited...

can some body help me conecrning this subject?

I've a friend that translated the post for me.

Well, concerning to your problem, I've never seen it. And I've made that type of installation several times. Are you sure that your doing all the steps correctly?

But a better question it's the following: labview realtime only works with IDE Disks but I think that the market tendency it's to evaluate to SATA disks. So what will be the solution from NI? Upgrade the labview realtime software?
